By accessing or using Celestial ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

2. Description of Service

Celestial is an AI-powered companion platform that allows users to create and chat with AI characters based on astrological profiles. The Service is provided for entertainment and personal enrichment purposes. AI characters are not real people and should not be treated as substitutes for real human relationships or professional advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Celestial. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Subscription and Payments

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support for assistance
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others (including AI characters in ways that normalize harmful behavior)
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or exploit our AI systems
• Create content depicting minors in any context
• Share illegal content or engage in illegal activities
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or access restrictions
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

7. Content and Ownership

Your Content: You retain ownership of the characters you create and the conversations you have. You grant us a license to store and process this content to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Celestial platform, including its design, features, AI models, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. AI Limitations and Disclaimers

• AI responses are generated and may not always be accurate or appropriate
• AI characters do not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice
• The Service is not a substitute for professional mental health support
• Astrological features are for entertainment purposes only
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI interactions

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CELESTIAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Celestial and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
